Ronda Trujillo
Ronda is a seasoned early childhood educator with more than 17 years experience working with children from infancy through early elementary school. She spent several years with the renowned Forever Young infant program utilizing the RIE methodology that encourages even the very youngest children to be self competent. While her child was young Ronda operated her own licensed home childcare program. Over the next 10 years she worked up to the position as Early Childhood Coordinator at Harmony Day School in Sacramento: a school which was highly respected for its focus on peaceful conflict resolution, cooperative learning, and using nature as a learning medium.
Alan Phillips
Alan has spent over 25 years as an educator working in grades preschool through college. For 6 years he owned and directed the highly regarded Chatham Preschool in Oakland, spent 3 years with a mixed-age elementary program, worked 15 years in a high school based Young Parents Program, and has taught Human Development at Sierra College. Alan has raised 7 children and is the grandparent of five. He holds Master's degrees in both Teaching:Early Childhood Education, and Counseling Psychology, and is a licensed Marriage Family Therapsit and credentialed school counselor.
Amber Neely
Amber is a welcome new addition to the Children's Farm. At 23 she already has 4 years of full time experience working with preschooler's and infants, volunteered with developmentally disabled children while a student at her Waldorf based high school, and has taken multiple classes in Early Childhood Education at Sierra College where she is working toward her AA degree.
